The Cosmopolitan Resort Casino and Condo-Hotel development in Las Vegas has informed its primary lender that proceedings for foreclosure will begin. This comes as a result of the developer’s inability to refinance a $760 million dollar loan due to the credit crunch. Cosmopolitan Las Vegas was a $3.9 billion dollar project.
