Las Vegas Sands plans to continue the expansion of the Venetian Resort Casino, and the newly completed Palazzo Resort, with plans to build 400 condominium that will be adjoined to the Palazzo on land formerly occupied by Rosemont Grill Restaurant.

Although Rosemont owners are not willing to sell their interest in this land, Sands is expected to purchase the airspace directy above stores that are planned for construction.

If this transaction goes through, it will be one of the few times airspace has been purchased and sold in Las Vegas. Many wonder if city inspectors will allow it.
